This is the preliminary website, but the only place I'm still selling prints through is this deviantART.  I haven't set up a shop yet, but I'm talking to a printer not too far from me and seeing about putting some designs on shirts, or just quality prints.

Thank you so much to those that are helping and supporting.

Obviously spent the weekend in Washington DC to visit my best friend from college.  We hit up the monuments and got some good shots there, and things for friends.  Went to the zoo as well.  That was a good learning experience for sure.

Just got an email saying that I've had October 4th set aside as my date for my trip to Fisherman's Island since unless you're on one of these tours?  People aren't allowed on the island at all.  And it's during the migration period as well.

I might go to Hatteras this weekend, and could potentially be at a beach when Fay blows up the coast line.  That'd make for some awesome cloud and water shots too.  We'll see if it happens.  

And I'm still being a lazy bum about moving the studio.  I've got motivation though, we need to have a guest room again come this weekend, which means that my paintings and supplies definitely need to be out of there.

Now that the swimming part of the Olympics are over, I'll be able to focus on the world once more.

I'm waiting on the air conditioner to be delivered and then also picking up some plastic bins to keep work in rather than leaving them out to spiders and whatever else.  But within the next week, I'm getting my own studio space.  It's just the garage, but I'm getting free reign over the garage as studio and gym space.  It'll be fun once the AC shows up.  

Have some plans in the works and I'm excited to have the space to work on them coming up soon.  Hell, Dad even helped with a tshirt design!

in unrelated news... i got a new betta today!

"Close Up" aka "The Hunter" has been published by PhotoLaureates in their Best Photographers of 2008 Anthology.  It's up for the grand prize of $6500 as well.  

This is a huge deal to me and a major milestone to say that my photography has been published.  My sculptures have been chosen and used in plays, I've consistently got into juried shows with my watercolors and then I won honorable mention in a region wide Juried Show for a mixed media piece.  

Slowly but surely, I shall conquer them all!  Plus, all of this will help me get into Grad School.

I have series ideas and materials to do them, but I haven't had the motivation to get them off the ground.  I think part of the problem is that I want to do larger images and want to project my smaller sketches onto at least 24x36 watercolor paper to work with.

I really need to get my butt in gear and back to painting.  Trying to get back into sculptures as well.
